NcFTPd general.cf file configuration
Don't forget to restart NcFTPd after modifying the general.cf file.
When the server accepts passive FTP data connections, it uses the system's standard method of picking a random port number for the remote client to connect to. For some primitive firewalls, you may want to restrict the range of these random port numbers. Odds are you don't need this feature. In addition, it isn't guaranteed to work 100% of the time anyway.
Before using this option, consider configuring your operating system's TCP/IP stack to use the desired ephemeral port range instead. See the section named Changing the Ephemeral Port Range in the documentation for information on how to do that.
If you must use this option, don't set the range smaller than 2000 ports.
