This option allows users with UID 0 (superuser) to login when FTP logins are being managed by an "authd" (a custom authentication process). By default, when NcFTPd is relying on an external authentication process, superuser logins are not allowed because of the risk of spoofed authentication messages. You should only enable this option if you are understand the ramifications of doing so.
